I am available to take on daily assignments for news wires as well as long-term investigative stories that require travel.

My reporting has been published in outlets such as the New York Times, the Financial Post, Toronto Star, and The Walrus. As a Vancouver-based freelance journalist with more than five years of industry experience, I know the province of British Columbia, Canada, like the back of my hand.

My reporting super powers include my ability to report and write quickly and my ability to bring in under-represented voices. Colleagues and editors say they like how I include deep personal narratives in my reporting.

I also co-host a Metro Vancouver city affairs podcast called the Cambie Report.

Before setting out on my own, I was a staff reporter at the Toronto Star and Star Vancouver (I left due to newsroom-wide layoffs) and before that I was a reporter for Westender, a now closed Vancouver-based arts and culture newspaper.
